This evaluation build has no telemetry endpoint, advertising tracker, payment service or automatic upload to the developer. No central tester-registration service is enabled. Downloads or local accounts therefore do not automatically provide the developer with a count of active users.
Account identifiers, names, salted password hashes, scripts, clips, settings and application logs are stored in your Windows profile under `%LOCALAPPDATA%\ClipFactoryBeta`. A local account is not a verified online account; there is no email-based password recovery. Exported files remain wherever you save them. Deleting the installed program alone does not delete this profile.
If you choose first-time setup, the app contacts PyPI, GitHub, Hugging Face and Node.js to obtain free local components. Those publishers receive the normal network request information, including your IP address, and apply their own privacy policies. Setup does not send them your scripts, channel credentials or local account password. Models and completed downloads can use several gigabytes of local space. Setup errors and component receipts remain local unless you deliberately share them.
After installation, writing AI, speech synthesis, original background creation and rendering run locally. Explicit source discovery or URL processing contacts the source platforms. If you configure a remote processing server, it receives the task data you submit to it. If you separately configure platform account linking, that provider receives its authorisation requests. These are separate actions, not hidden telemetry.
There is no recording or cloning of your voice. The local voice models synthesise the script text you provide. Do not supply private content to an external source or remote server unless you intend to share it there.
Project privacy/support contact: **clipfactory.platform@gmail.com**. There is no central registration, mailing list or app telemetry. The feedback form prepares an email or a local JSON file; you decide whether to send it. Emailing feedback reveals your email address and any information you include to the recipient and the email providers. Feedback is used to investigate problems and improve ClipFactory. Do not send passwords, tokens, private videos or complete logs. You can ask questions about, or request deletion of, your voluntarily submitted feedback at the contact address. No anonymous automatic user count is available.
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes network requests under its own privacy policy. The hosting provider may maintain security and request logs. The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to estimate visits, page views, referring sites and performance. This adds no telemetry to the desktop app. Download-page visits estimate interest only: they do not prove a completed download, installation or active app use. Campaign paths distinguish links shared on different platforms. There are no advertising pixels. Analytics can be blocked or delayed.
